Tutorial: Bow Holder

This is a really cute way to not only keep up with all of those bows and clippies, but also a fun way to show them off.  There are many different ways to make a bow holder but today I'm going to show you how to make one using  picture frames that I found at Goodwill for $1.97 a piece!!!

What you will need:
  • Picture frame: Any size will do depending on the look you are going for.  I like 16x20.
  • Save the cardboard from the inside of the frame, you will need it later.
  • Acrylic all purpose paint or spray paint
  • Fabric:  1/2 yard (it will be more than enough)
  • A roll of 5/8 ribbon
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paint brush

Step 1: Paint/spray paint the picture frame, allow it to dry.

Step 2:  Using the cardboard from the frame, cover it with the fabric of your choice. Use a hot glue gun to secure.

Step 3: Take the ribbon and stretch it over the length of the cardboard and secure both ends with hot glue.
            Repeat 4-5 times.

Step 4: Insert the board back into the frame.  Load it with bows and clippies and there you have your very own bow holder!

Enjoy!!!
